Alcon 2025 Cashback Promotion FAQs

 

How long does the promotion run for and when do I need to get my claim in by?

To participate, you must purchase participating products between 01/08/2025 12:01am AEDT and 31/12/2025 11:59PM AEST. Then, you must complete the purchase verification process and submit a valid claim form with your sales receipt for verification by no later than January 14, 2026.

 

How do I enter the “Alcon Cashback“ Promotion?

Simply purchase a “Participating Product” from a “Participating Retailer” in Australian or New Zealand (between 01/08/2025 and 31/12/2025) and collect the unique promo code at the point of sale, then:

  • visit www.alconrewards.com.au (“Offer Site”);
  • follow the prompts to the claim form;
  • input the requested details, including your mobile phone number, valid email address, the details of the qualifying product/s and the participating retailer, as well as the unique promo code,
  • upload your proof of purchase issued by the participating retailer when prompted; and then
  • submit the fully completed claim form by no later than January 14, 2026.

 

What is a eligible purchase?

To be eligible to claim, claimants must purchase, in a single transaction, their first 3-month supply of TOTAL1™ or PRECISION1™ (2 x 90 packs) or 6-month supply of TOTAL30™ contact lenses (2 x 6 packs or 4 x 3 packs) of a “Participating Product” from a “Participating Retailer” between 01/08/2025 and 31/12/2025.

Purchases from physical Participating Retailers only will be accepted, including purchases from that physical Participating Retailer’s online store. Online only or e-commerce only retailers are excluded.

Ensure you collect your voucher claim coupon containing a unique claim code as well as your optometrists code which are mandatory to provide on your claim.

 

Where do I find my 'Retailer ID'?

The Retailer ID will be handwritten on the back of the voucher claim card given to you by your optomertrist upon purchase. 

If you do not have this, please just enter "0000" to proceed with your claim. 

 

Where do I find my 'Unique Code'?

The 'unique codes' will be printed on the separate voucher claim card given to you by your optomertrist upon purchase. The card will look like this

 

Where can I buy participating products?

You can purchase TOTAL1 TM, PRECISION1 TM and TOTAL30TM from most of your local optometry stores.

 

I have made more than one qualifying eligible purchase?

Claims for this promotion are limited to one (1) per person based on mobile number.

 

How will my receipt be validated?

You will be asked to supply a copy of your purchase receipt while completing the online entry form by scanning or taking a photo of the receipt and uploading as an attachment onto the web page. In order for your entry to be validated, all submitted invoices must include: the store of purchase, products purchased (which must clearly display participating products purchased), the date of purchase (which must be during the Promotion Purchase Period before you submit your entry) and legible.

 

Should I keep the product’s packaging?

No, you are not required to keep the product’s packaging. However, you will need to retain the original proof of purchase.

 

How many times can I enter?

Claims for this promotion are limited to one (1) per person based on mobile number.

 

How will my cashback be rewarded?

Australian claimants will receive their cashback in the form of a digital Mastercard sent via SMS to the mobile number provided at the time of claim.

New Zealand claimants will receive their cashback via EFT to the bank account provided at the time of claim.

 

How does a prepaid digital Mastercard work?

Vault Payments will deliver a pre-paid digital Mastercard to your mobile phone. Once you have followed the steps to activate, you can make purchases in-store using the mobile’s “tap and go” function as well as online.

 

How do I activate my digital Prepaid Mastercard?

  1. Within seven (7) business days of successful verification, you will have received an SMS from ‘Alcon’ with an activation link. Your unique activation code will need to be used within 2 months of the SMS original send date. This will be noted in the SMS you receive.
  2. Click on the link in the text message and you’ll be directed to your device’s app store to install the Vault Payments application.
  3. Click on the option to install and then open the Vault Payments app and enter your mobile number and activation code that was provided in the SMS. You may be asked for additional information to confirm your identity.
  4. When prompted, read and accept the Vault Payments Terms & Conditions.
  5. You’ll then see your Digital Prepaid Mastercard in the app, and you’re ready to add it to your device wallet

Where can I use the digital Prepaid Mastercard?

You can use your card in-store at contactless point of sale terminals (look for the Contactless, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay logo), or you can use your card online.

 

How can I use my digital Prepaid Mastercard online?

Just like paying with a credit or debit card, you’ll just need your card number, expiry date and CVC number.

  1. In the Vault Payments app, tap the card once to view your card number and expiry date.
  2. Tap twice to see the CVC number.
  3. Complete your purchase online per normal.
  4. Checkout and select ‘credit card’ as the payment type.
  5. Enter the card details and input your name as the cardholder.
